"One Nation, Under GOD"

These words have echoed in our ears for generations.
I ask the question, do we really know the meaning of these words? Have we forgotten what the Pledge of Allegiance stands for?

I remember standing up in my morning class in elementary school, putting my hand over my heart, and stating the Pledge of Allegiance. How I miss those days. The days when GOD had a critical role in our society. The days when our presidents were respected, cherished, and looked up to as the leaders of our great Nation. When we held sacred to the imperative doctrines and principles. So, what changed?

The answer: Our people changed.

The Pledge of Allegiance is a solemn agreement. Our society has forgotten that each one of us has made this agreement:

"I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America,
And to the republic, for which it stands,
One Nation, Under GOD,
Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all"

The flag is a symbol of freedom, liberty, and justice. We all have the responsibility of making certain that we stay true to our heritage and most importantly Almighty GOD.

Food & Our World

Genesis 1:12~And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

In the beginning, God created every plant, every tree, every flower. It's structure and function was perfect. God saw His creation & said it was very good. If this is so, why does man feel the need to modify God's perfect creation? What has made man decide to take nature into his own hands and shape it in a way he sees fit?
God has given man the highest honor, the rule over all His majestic creations. Man has taken this gift for granted. We have forgotten that all of this, is not ours, it has only been lent to us.

Many have forgotten the sacred role we have been given. As individuals, as a society, as a nation, our purpose is to treasure God's creations. Our role is to love and honor our planet and all creatures living on it.

We must realize that just as God has gifted us with this beautiful planet, He can just as well take it away from us. Why would He let us keep it if we don't treat it right?

Let us be open minded and aware of what's going on around us. From GMO's to pesticides, our food is changing. We need to get back to the basics!

Here's some things you can do to contribute:

Remember them that are In Bonds~Hebrews 13:3

All over the world Christians are being persecuted for their faith. Yes, this is hard to take in, but true. You may ask, how can this be happening? Or, how can God allow this? With finite minds there's no natural way to comprehend the very reasons for why God allows this to happen. God is of infinite wisdom, however and we can be sure and rest in this alone, knowing that His purposes are just and true. God is a God of pure justice and mercy. Whatever He does, I can tell you with the utmost certainty, it has a purpose. A purpose we as humans with limited wisdom and understanding cannot fully discern at the moment. Nonetheless, in time we will come to understand the great mysteries of God that He chooses to reveal to us.

Jesus said, "Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his friends."(John 15:13) The power of these words cannot be expressed enough. To lay down ones life is the ultimate sacrifice.

"Jesus Freaks" or Christian Martyrs all over the world are giving up their lives for the one thing or "the One" they treasure most. They are giving up everything they have to the Glory of God and gaining "all things" in return.
"Who spared not His own Son, but gave Him for us all to death, how shall He not with Him give us all things also?"(Romans 8:32)
So we clearly see, that God, most high, creator of the heavens and earth and all that ever is and ever will be, did not spare His one and only son whom He loveth (John 5:20) due to His great love for us.
As we hear more about what's going on in the world, we need to take action and "Be Bold". Don't ever be afraid to share what you know with anyone and everyone around you. You never know how much of an impact you'll have on someone's life.
God has said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, let us not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.(Ephesians 5:17). Let us not fall short of this commandment. Let us take upon us the whole armor of God, that we may be able to resist in the evil day.(Ephesians 6:13)
There are people in other countries and even around us who have not heard the Gospel. There are places where communism rules.
In the book, "Tortured for Christ", Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, a steadfast Christian who suffered for fourteen years in a communist prison talks about his experiences. As well as those of fellow believers. He talks about the Russians' avid thirst for Christ and the exceptional opportunities for turning other nations to God. He says, "This book is not written so much with ink, as with the blood of bleeding hearts."

How We Can Attack Communism Spiritually

"There's only one force that can change evil governments. It's the same force that enabled Christian states to take the place of the heathen Roman Empire. The force that made Christians of savage Teutons and Vikings, the force that overthrew the bloody Inquisition. This force is the power of the Gospel, represented by the Underground church that works in all nations." ~Rev. Richard Wurmbrand

We ALL have the ability to help our brothers and sisters. Prayer, spreading the word, and getting involved are all ways we can make a difference.

"Christ does not belong only to America, England, and other democratic countries. When He was crucified, one of His hands was stretched out toward the west, the other toward the east. He wishes to be King not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles, of the Communists, and of the Western world." ~Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, pg. 80

~He gave His blood for ALL and ALL should hear and believe the Gospel. ~Rev. Richard Wurmbrand

And all will hear and believe the Gospel,

"That at the Name of Jesus should every knee bow, both of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth." (Philippians 2:10)

The Gospel is the word of life! The word that makes us free!

Jesus said,"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"
(John 8:32)

"But, the same freedom, only freedom, can give the truth. And, instead of quarreling about nonessentials, we should unite in this fight for freedom against the tyrannies in this world."~Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, pg.92

The West sleeps and must be awakened to see the plight of captive nations.~Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, pg.94

The great news is that the battle has already been won! The question I have for you is, do you want to be a part of it?

And that every tongue(nation) should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, unto the glory of God the Father.(Philippians 2:11)

That ye may be blameless, and pure, and the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a naughty and crooked nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.(Philippians 2:15)

Let us run the race that is before us, forgetting what's behind and pushing forward to what lies before us. Knowing that we will receive the greatest prize of all, the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 3:13-14)

Mushrooms are amazing. They contain a variety of nutritional substances. Among these substances are amino acids and polysaccharides.
There are more than 10,000 varieties of mushroom.

They can be split into four different categories:
Saprotrophic - decomposers
Mycorrhizal - unified alliance with plants
Parasitic - affects the plant host
Endophytic - invades the plant host tissue

In China, the mushroom,Ganoderma Lucidum was reserved for the emperor and has long been associated with longevity and spiritual energy. The benefits of this mushroom are endless.
Mushrooms are definitely one of the strangest, most fascinating creations on this Earth. Not only are they beneficial to your health, but they taste good too! This is a recipe I came up with, try it out for yourself!

Vitamins, we all know they're needed in our bodies. But, most of us think were doing our bodies a favor by taking dietary supplements. Now, im not saying that ALL vitamin supplements are harmful, just most. If you read the label on most vitamin supplements you'll notice numerous ingredients. These ingredients can be harmful and even toxic.

You probably wouldn't think that a natural supplement would contain chemicals. If you notice though, the same ingredients that can be found in many vitamin supplements are also used in these:
  • sweeteners
  • preservatives
  • printing inks
  • flavors
  • fillers
  • colors
We all take vitamin supplements for the same purpose, to be healthier. It could be doing the opposite, though. These supplements shelf life gets extended, but at what cost?
Your body knows the difference between what's real and what's fake, but it always prefers the real thing.
Although there are many harmful supplements, there are beneficial kinds as well. When you read the label on these supplements you'll notice the difference right away. My favorite brand is Garden of Life. This is an excellent brand. Not only are the ingredients ALL NATURAL but they're also RAW! Garden of Life also makes nutritional shakes and snacks.
Heres the label for Garden of Life; RAW Meal:
